Your images never leave your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any image you process with ZeroBG. Period.
What we collect
ZeroBG does not collect personal data. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. We do not log IP addresses beyond standard hosting infrastructure access logs (page loads only — no image data is ever involved).
Your images
All image processing happens locally in your browser. The AI model is downloaded once from Hugging Face's CDN and cached on your device. Every image you upload is processed entirely on your machine using your device's CPU or GPU. No image data is sent to our servers or any third party at any point.
Third-party services
The following external services are contacted when you load the page:
- Hugging Face CDN — to download the RMBG-2.0 model files on first use
- Google Fonts CDN — to load the typography used on this site
- jsDelivr CDN — to load the Transformers.js runtime library
These requests reveal your IP address to those CDN providers as with any standard web request. No image content is ever involved in these requests.
Data retention
We retain no user data. Once you close the browser tab, nothing persists on our side. The model cache stored in your browser can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
